Heres a question for ya-
Lets say hypothetically that all movies (present, past and future) were going to disapear for the next 10 years (for whatever reason).
Now a world wide lottery is held, and YOU were chosen...to pick a SINGLE movie that will only been shown (either at the theatre, home, etc) for these next 10 years.
What movie would you choose?
For what reasons would you choose this particular movie.
You could choose a personal favorite of yours, but your choice is no longer personal, it affects the entire world.
Big decision eh?
I thought this might spark some interesting conversation, but please, no criticism, and don't ask me why I chose this topic...it just popped in my head last night.

Casablanca
It in my opinion is the best film ever made as far as story, cinematography, direction, etc goes.
I would show it to all those could ever make to the venue to be seen.

Does it have to be a feature film? I would choose some Simpsons episodes.

great topic. I think that if the situation Hanthx described was real, everybody would be very, very sad, so i'd choose one of the best comedy ever: Holy Graal!

Hmmmm, it depends on what kind of mood I was in, and how I felt about the general population.
Since it is for the whole world, that means it wouldn't necessarily be something I would want to watch, but what I would want everyone else to watch.
I'm thinking Airplane!
